Yoga Bodega

Yoga Instruction and Massage Services in Bodega, California

Class Schedule

There are currently four weekly public classes at Yoga Bodega. All classes are 75-90 minutes long.

Weekday morning classes are taught on either Tuesday-Thursday or Wednesday-Friday at 8:30 a.m.

NOTE: the weekday morning schedule varies from week to week (because I’m student-teaching in a block-scheduled school). The schedule will be posted on this website in the left-hand column, or you can email me to be added to my mailing list.

Class Levels:

Level I – Beginners with no experience, people with special considerations (injury, chronic conditions, etc.), older students, students looking for a very gentle, instructive class.

Level II – Students with some experience, people re-entering yoga. Students should have familiarity with the names of yoga poses and be able to follow instruction. Students at this level should have the ability to move in and out of poses easily (step from Downward Dog to a lunge, for example).

Level III – Intermediate students who have had at least a year of instructed yoga and are in reasonably good shape. Students should have familiarity with the names of yoga poses and be able to follow instruction. Students at this level should have the ability to move in and out of poses easily (step from Downward Dog to a lunge, for example). Should have some familiarity with inversions (headstand, handstand, etc.) and back-bends.

Wednesdays – Levels I-III  – 6 p.m.

Saturdays – Levels II-III – 9 a.m.

Please note: If you’re an absolute beginner (meaning, you’re new to yoga, unfamiliar with the yoga vocabulary, out of shape, at risk of injury, or unclear about your own limitations), it would be a good idea to come to a couple of weekday morning classes, or the Wednesday evening class, before attending class on Saturday morning. It’s not a super-advanced class, but there are plenty of standing poses, flow sequences, and challenges that require you to know your own body and limitations. If you’re wondering if it’s the right class for you, email me at suzi@yogabodega.com.
